The Delta State Commissioner for Technical Education, Hon. (Mrs) Gbubemi Ikolo, has charged youths in the state to take opportunity of Technical Education for them to make a living for themselves.
Mrs Ikolo gave the charge at Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area, while speaking with president and members of the Agbor Youth Association during her visit to the Technical College.
Speaking to the youths who came out to welcome her, the state Commissioner for Technical Education, Mrs Gbubemi Ikolo, called on them to make themselves available to learning a skill adding that technical education will no doubt give them the means of learning good skills, well educated, and also make them employers of labour.
The Commissioner explained further that the state Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa is no doubt a lover of youths in the state, adding that his creation of the Ministry of Technical Education is an evidence to the fact that he wants the best for youths in the state.
Mrs Ikolo while explaining that a state with three Education Ministry, goes to show the great interest of a better Educational System, further charged graduates, undergraduates, and school drop outs, to unveil themselves the opportunity of Technical education as the state Governor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has no doubt equipped all Technical Colleges with standard equipments for learning.
